Movies
Since I was little I always loved watching movies, I watched movies on VHS or sometimes we would rent them to Blockbuster, when I grew up we would go with my grandfather to a fair in Puente Alto where they sold them pirated, there we could see many movies at a low price. We also liked going to the movies, in fact the first movie I saw in 3D was "Nightmare before Christmas", it was surprising. I really like cinema because you can see different realities or different worlds, you can also have a fun time with your friends or family, movies fill you with different emotions and you can live adventures through the characters. I like to watch films of different genres, but the ones I love the most are drama and historical films, since one can feel part of the story.
A film that marked me a lot in life was “Les Miserables”, a musical released in 2012 and based on the novel by Victor Hugo. The film shows the story of Jean Valjean, a former thief on the run who adopts a little girl named Cosette, this story covers 17 years and is set in a context of political instability in France, ending with the Rebellion of June 1832. I really like this film since it generates different emotions (joy, sadness, emotion) whenever I see it I cry a lot hahaha, also, although the characters are fictitious, it shows the historical and political context of France, something that always made me very curious.
This is my favorite musical!, is so emotional and the performances were incredible.
