THE BEST HOLIDAYS

I have had many wonderful vacations, either with my family or friends, but without a doubt the best vacation I had was when I traveled the Austral highway backpacking, this was in February 2018 and it was with my brother and my dad. The Austral highway is in the south of Chile, there are hundreds of kilometers of beautiful landscapes, we spent 10 days traveling, we were in different places such as in Coyhaique, in Puerto Aysén, in the General Carrera lake, in the Marble Cathedrals, etc. We also crossed by bicycle to Argentina to visit a town called Chile Chico, but without a doubt one of the most incredible activities we experienced was doing a 4 day trekking at Cerro Castillo since it is a beautiful and intense place jajaja.

We saw many beautiful landscapes and met many people, that is one of the things I like the most when backpacking, the camaraderie that exists between backpackers, you will never get bored on your tour!. I must admit that at one point I just wanted to leave, it always hurt to sleep on the floor, it was cold, it rained a lot so we were always wet and sometimes we walked many kilometers because no car wanted to take us! But my father always told us that now we suffer but that when we return to Santiago we will find that these were the best vacations and that we are only going to want to return. And he was absolutely right! Now, 3 years later, I can say that each moment was magical and that I would make that trip again without thinking.
