ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES Hi, I hope that you are all well and that you have a good closing of the semester, good cheer! This is the last blog that I will publish for now since we are finishing the semester, my experience learning english at university has been much better than at school since I did not have a good learning process in this matter, when I was little I went in a school where I was not very good in english and when I changed to another all my classmates already spoke it so I stayed behind. The first year of university due to personal problems I could not take this subject but in the second I could take them without problem and I learned a lot, unfortunately this year has been very difficult for me so I could not give the necessary attention to this subject. I really enjoyed writing the blogs because they are a fun and dynamic way to learn english, although there were a couple of days that I had a lot of tests  in other subjects so I was a day or two late in p...

Changes to my Study programme  I find it interesting to talk and reflect on this topic of the curriculum. I am a third year student of Social Work and what strikes me the most about the first years of study is that we see many different subjects, for example, history, philosophy , sociology, anthropology, psychology, etc. And although I like this variety, I have always wondered if the other careers in the social sciences have a subject called "Social Work”. Regarding co-curricular activ...

Postgraduate Studies Hi, I hope you are well despite the pandemic and all the conflicts that it can generate. Many times I have wondered what I could study after finishing my career in Social Work, first of all I would do a childhood course since that is what I would like to work on when I finish university, I am also thinking of doing a master's degree since in 5to year we have the option of taking it, which means that the first year of master's is would cover with the "Gratuidad", something that would be very good for me and I think I should take advantage of it. A dream that I have always had is also to study history since I have always liked this subject and it was one of my options when I entered a university career, I would study this career at the University of Chile or at the University of Santiago. Honestly, I don't care where to study, since the two options of studying in Chile or abroad seem good to me, although knowing other countries and cultures sou...
